I'm still exploring dark colors in my newest work. But this time, the artwork is not digital! This was created with acrylic paint and soft pastels, on paper. I call it "Memories of a Burning House", and basically it's an exploration of color on a black and blue background.

I tried a different approach to my artwork here, in this newly completed image. This scene kind of resembles the old style CRT screen resolution, as seen in classic video games. The inspiration for the content of the scene, was the Atari VCS game "Adventure", as well as the original package art from Electronic Arts' "Adventure Construction Set" (two of my favorite games as a youngster). The software used to create this was Blender, Painter, and Photoshop. You can click the image for a larger view.
