I've taken a break from the Spanish landscape painting.  I'm not sure if I'll go back to it, but I'll at least post one more update on it!

Today makes 39 years since Bruce Lee passed away.  He may be gone, but he's still kicking butt!


On a happier note, I'll be showing two paintings at the 40 Art Show, at Phoenix Art Supplies in Doylestown tonight.  (Opening reception, 7:00 to 9:00 pm).  The show runs through the week-end, come and see it if you can!   :-)

This is the first stage of a new painting.  It's based on a photo that I took at Segovia, Spain, looking out from the top of castle Alcazar, to the road below!

On a sadder note, Andy Griffith died today.  He'll be missed.  But he's reunited with Barney now!

This is a small, new painting which I completed in just a few hours.  Still life with seashell!  Acrylic on canvas board, 5" x 7".  

This is my "relatively new" cat, Bruce.   :)  He's a funny little fellow, always up to some type of mischief!

I reworked some things in this painting, so I thought I'd repost it!

I really love this song, from the old SoulCalibur IV video game.  It's called "Path of Destiny", and is a stirring piece of orchestra music.  I've had the whole SoulCalibur IV soundtrack on cd for a little while, but have just recently re-discovered it.  I think it'll be good music to paint by!
