Computer is finally working! :) Looks like we are about to have another awesome painting by that famous artist Michael Wayne Ricketson! :) I am the very proud owner of six of his paintings! :)
Whoa, that's quite a fortune in art, that you have there! Ha ha! :) Hopefully you have a good place at home where they can all hang. :)
I started an abstract painting, today, which I can work on while waiting for layers of paint on the still life to dry. I bought a second sealable palette, so that I can more easily keep separate color palettes wet, while working on multiple paintings! :) I used to kind of dislike having multiple paintings going.....!
Does it get confusing when you have more than one painting going at a time? Sounds like it might be kind of fun though! :) Will we get a peek at the abstract painting soon? :)
Yes, I think it's difficult to have more than one painting in progress! Each one has different ideas and color schemes associated with it, and ideally it'd be nice to focus on just one painting at a time. But having separate color palettes now will make it easier!
Maybe tomorrow I will post an image of the abstract painting! :) At the moment I'm sort of close to finishing the still life...
I will! I'll probably leave extra early, since the roads might be bad. If I arrive too early, I can always hang out at the bookstore next door! Hopefully God will watch over me....
I've seen a little Tommy and Gracie, via Facebook updates.... Including a new Snoopy post. :) Always cute! I got out last night, right about 10:00. The roads were pretty iffy, but I'm glad I made it home okay!! :)

As always, Mikey, I will be watching! :) How's the weather there?
ReplyDeleteHi! No snow yet, but should be starting soon. I have to be at work at 4:30.... yikes....
ReplyDeleteI was watching the weather channel. This is a fast moving storm, thankfully! Be careful out there, Mikey! :)

ReplyDeleteHe always has been and always will be, Mikey! :) What time do you get off?
ReplyDeleteYes, you are right! :) I will leave work at about 10:00, maybe a little sooner.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you won't be very busy and they will let you leave early. I hope that Bruce is doing well! :) Have you checked out Tommy and Gracie lately?

ReplyDeleteToday I shall definitely finish the still life! :) It sure is taking longer than expected though...
