I've started a new still life painting.  Here is an early look.  :)

No fancy mixed media on this one, it'll just be straight acrylic on MDF.

Thanks for looking!

  2. Straight acrylic is relaxing to work with. :)

I'm going to art class now! One of the other students will be bringing her new puppy to class! That's something to look forward to.

  4. I didn't get much done in class, because I was blabbing with the instructor a lot! :) We were talking about "modern" vs. "mineral" pigments, which is fascinating I think.

The puppy was adorable! She was a black "labra-doodle" named Stella, and 6 weeks old. She slept most of the time, but when she was awake, WOW. Very energetic and always looking for trouble! :) She almost stole one of my paint brushes. And then she was scratching on the glass door, because she wanted to go out.

  5. Hi! Wow, that is young to be out and about for a puppy. She sounds really cute! :) Check out the two new pictures on Tommy and Gracie. I really like the Peanuts picture. I'll be watching! :)

  6. Yes, I liked the Snoopy comic too. :) I hope Tommy enjoyed his time at the park, looks like it was a nice day.

  8. That was adorable, Gracie was chasing Tommy around the green tub! I guess any day is good for an indoor beach day!

  9. Yes, that was so "sweet". Looks like Gracie had had enough of Tommy bothering her when they were in the green tub together. :) I watch it at least once a day! :)
